The choice

K. Letourneau

The choice, Nicholas Sparks
Grand Central Publishing,
237 Park Avenue, New York New York 2007

The choice is a splendid tale of a love story gone in the direction most people fear. When you finally have found the person you expect to share the rest of your life with; how perfect you would view your life? But for Gabby Holland her first true love may not be her last once she meets her new neighbor from next door. A man with everything you might say, waterfront home in North Carolina, good job, but there was just something about him. Travis Parker tried and tried for Gabby's attention but displeased her exsisting boyfriend. The story takes some serious twists and turns sometimes in the right direction and then other times i want to hit her in the head for being such a two-timer!

The choice is an intriguing story of the common choice we all have to make. How far would you go for love? Do you believe in love? Is love a hopeless game that only silly people play? All of these questions are brought to the frontline and battled out within their heads and within their hearts. The story celebrates that of love gained but also of the consequences of a love lost. A fantastic story through and through and the ending may surprise you.

I decided to read this book recommended by V. Reigh because i found the plot line interesting. I enjoy love stories and i've also read Nicholas Sparks before and enjoyed his writings. I also found that many authors try and convey this very concept in their books and i have only recently found a book that's done it well, and The Choice was it. I enjoyed reading the ups and downs, i even felt the emotion through the pages with them, a perfect read for anybody willing to hear about a hearfelt tale of three unexpected lovers.
